Sugar & Stripes…

And all sorts of spice, that’s what èsjé is made of 😉.

Hello my lovelies. Here’s a look from my first kinda sorta night out in Sierra Leone since I lost my dad. By night out I mean dinner and a bar because my heart is still heavy and I’m still not able to be my usual chirpy bubbly self. These things take time but I still managed to turn up the volume a little on the fashion department.

I started of the night at Papaya at Lumley Beach and had some lovely skewered shrimp whilst I caught up with my friend from school.

From there I moved on to The Hub Hotel where I hoped to get a much needed cocktail but opted for some tea instead. I’m obviously not back to my usual self yet or I’m just too much of a Brit nowadays.

My darling friend Marianne who’s been one of my rocks during this difficult time dropped by to help hang out and we had to take a selfie of course.
